Locking Down Client PCs with Group Policy

The below options show various restrictions you may want to apply via Group Policy. They are all made in Windows 2008 but may also apply to 2003. In the below example I have created a Group Policy and applied it to the relevant User Accounts.

1 – Block Programs

In the below example I have blocked Internet Explorer from being run.

2. Restrict Access to Drives

The below example restricts access to the PCs local drives.

3. Lock Down Access to Start Menu
